Good morning all!

After 2 flash floods this week Lenny has 2 babies. The first flood took out 6 pipped eggs. Lenny and her babies have been moved to higher ground and managed stay dry through last night's chaos. They are doing well this morning

After all the rain we got this spring, we really were not expecting this much water this summer.

Yes please.
They are this big? 400 grams =aprox. 1 pound!
yep!

A beef tomato or beefsteak tomato is any of the largest varieties of cultivated tomatoes, some weighing 450 grams or more. Wikipedia

could also be a brandywine, they are big too, they are both heirloom tomatoes, the brandywine is said to have fruit as big as 1.5 lbs

Yes, we have a few that can get that big. I grew them, but don't pay enough attention to them for them to reach their full potential.

beefsteak and brandywine are my two favorites for sandwiches, they have more meat to them, less watery seed stuff

Do they need hot, cold climate?
Do you know that the cherry tomatoes is an Israeli product?

:drool Now I want a stuffed tomato!
While playing in my garden this morning, I saw that I do have four or five tomatoes that are starting. I did not check to see which kind it was though. I am going with my early girls.

Slice them, add extra Virgin olive oil, salt, some shredded basil, and some mozzarella cheese! You will have a nice breakfast!
