Quote: I'd have used deck blocks, but couldn't find any to take 6x6's w/o necking them down. x's would probably have been sufficient, but with the weight of the building and the equipment I'll have in it, I was more comfortable with 6x6's. Besides, code calls for 6x6's for decks here (not that I had it inspected) and a 10'x16' building is a lot heavier than any deck.

Morning everyone.

I remembered that after I posted. You don't need a permit to build something smaller than 100 sq. ft. here. All my buildings stay under that footprint so I don't have to hassle with it.
The biggest permanent building I've built here on a slab is 12X8. That's 96 sq. ft.. Just under the wire.
All the rest are elevated on deck blocks. One is 6X8, one 3.5X18. Another is a hexagon breeder complex but still under the 100 sq. ft..

Anyone heard from Sally today?

-Kathy

I have, she gave Daxi and me info for running contests. It looks like she's serious about not coming back.

She told me she wouldn't be checking her PMs anymore so I shouldn't reply.
