why notLolololol! Not me!
could be fun
I vote you.
We did indeed decide that.We actually decided that we wanted to meet you. You are so much fun! We don't want to get rid of you!
Chaos.who are we tying up?
We can celebrate now!We actually decided that we wanted to meet you. You are so much fun! We don't want to get rid of you!
LOL
That suddenly made me think. Isn't it funny that a nursing home needs wifi?
Dark eggs lose humidity slower.
I only recently got them to hatch in the incubator. IDK how I forgot to celebrate that when it happened.
I'm 6'3"..........but don't tell MC cause she might faint.
I don't have the time or money currently but I love travelling. I've lost track of all the places I've been.I've never been a fan of vacations. I'll take time off occasionally during the summer but we rarely go anywhere.
You don't want worms to get in your hair.I wish I could sleep outside here. Too many worms and slugs trying to kill me though.
Any worms there?I keep thinking about that. I have a total of two real trees. They are awfully close to the road. Don't think I would get much sleep. I do have a futon on the sun porch. It is comfortable for naps, but I can't stay asleep there through the night.
If I do things according to plan (which doesn't always happen), I move them to a building where I can put them on about 8 hours of light about 3 weeks before butcher date. For those of you that process extra cockerels do you feed them anything special the closer to butchering time they get to get them to add a little extra weight on?
I brought back an enormous hand crocheted hammock for 2 (or 3 or 4) from Honduras. They don't make stands that big so I drew up plans, took them to a weld shop and they made it for me. (I didn't know how to weld at the time) I lived in a shotgun style 4 family flat in the city. The hammock took up the entire second room and went from corner to corner. I didn't own a TV at the time so the hammock and a stereo were the only things in the room. It was too pretty to put outside anyway. For people that weigh under 175 pounds. Then they make ones that cost over $175
The last time I weighed that was at about 40. At 16 I had just reached 100 lbs..I think the last time I weighed that I was 16 yrs old.
Mosquitos would be a real problem here. It wouldn't be fun to have raccoons crawling over me either.I would sleep outside more, except the coyotes are terribly close- much too close for comfort. And don't even get me started on the bears and bobcats....![]()
No. Mosquito larvae are bad for me when they graduate....
are mosquito larvae bad for chickens?
...

You can always come here to hunt. Non-resident hunting licenses tend to be pretty pricey in most states.Good
That is a thing that I can't do here!
I'm fond of road kill venison. No need to hunt. Just walk out in the yard and butcher them.In my opinion that wild meat is the best meat you can find! The organic of all orgsnics!
Have you found brewer's yeast?Yes, I have a duck with leg problems.
Quackers died this a.m. and Jesse is limping, but otherwise acting normal, so I'm assuming this is a niacin deficiency? Quackers was walking backwards sometimes on the first day I noticed her acting weird but after that was just .... I can't think of the right word to describe it ... lazy, I guess, but in a sick way. She would rest before going on with the others and, most of the time, was in the back of the line, struggling to keep up. She was resting/hiding in the daylily bush when I put the ducks in last night. I rarely saw her eating while she was sick, but she didn't look thin to me. I don't know if she had a niacin deficiency or not. I would bring her to the vet for a necropsy, but I just can't. I should have taken her to the vet before, but I thought it was only a niacin deficiency and she would be ok.
On the up side, I am finally getting purina flock raiser today. I am going to do some research to try to find out what Quackers had. If I see another duck acting like she did, they will go to the vet asap .... as long as he does ducks.
I miss my Quackburd so much. I don't think I'll ever change my avatar, unless it's to another picture of Quackers. I almost feel like changing my username, but I can only change it once, so I don't know about that. Poor little Quackers. I hope animals go to Heaven.
All women like tall men.I like Giants. My hubs is over 6 foot tall.
All I've ever dated were short girls. Perhaps 2 that were taller than I.I dated a short girl..............once![]()
They're pretty noisy.i would like a couple someday but not sure how they would fare in NH
too pretty to eat them
Forms?@MotorcycleChick
That would be a great nursing home! As fast as forms are disappearing, it would actually be a good idea to save one!
I think I best find a form somewhere pretty quick. I'm not getting any younger. It's hard to find a really good place..and I can't afford to go to Austrailia.
I'm 6'2"![]()
I love traveling as well. Just not a big fan of vacations.I don't have the time or money currently but I love travelling. I've lost track of all the places I've been.

They're fed a mixture of half feed (finisher or grower) and half grain mix to which I add whole milk. That is sometimes as a slurry in a feed pan or as a whole milk powder mixed with the feed.

No. I asked for some yesterday at the store and waited forever while the lady brought it out of storage. After I had left, I looked at the label, and it said: "nutritional yeast"! I know now to not trust people so much.Have you found brewer's yeast?
Load them up on it. About 10:1 feed to yeast. Or even higher for the first couple days.
Chaos.![]()
We can celebrate now!I hatched one this last time I hatched. It's only about two weeks old and I'm already pretty sure it's a roo. The only chick I hatched out of a blue egg!![]()
