Is anyone here familiar with the Aloha chicks breed? There is an add on Craigslist in my area that is selling aloha chicks for $1 each. Is this a good deal? Are they good breeds for the heat? Are they good egg layers?

Also, a family member is moving, and is giving me their 2 goslings. Can I let a broody hen raise them and then let them live with my chickens? Or will they not get along?

A dollar is always good.
You can give the goslings to any critter (not a snake. Snakes are bad babysitters. Or an elephant) that will accept them.
