I put them in on monday night. The incubator says day 2. I thought the alarm is suposted to go off when lowwrr the 18? Will they be ok

Is your equipment calibrated? What incubator are you using? How many thermometers? Hygrometers?

My pullets don't think that the fence I have bilt (2 meters) is much of a barrier!

That looks so good! When I lived i Samoa, we had a Mango tree in the yard and we'd go out and pick the just barely ripe fruit each morning. WAY, way better than what I can find in my stores locally.

Question twice i caugjt my incubator down at 18 humidity. Today i caught it at 17. Will my eggs be ok im in cali. The temp has stayed constant tho.

you need to get it stabilized, and keep a close eye on air cell size

I'm hearing faint peeps. There are 5 eggs due now and 3 more tomorrow. The only pip so far is the malpositioned one that started yesterday which was a day early.

They really have to hatch by themselves. I know it's hard when it's the first one. If there's still shell around it, leave it alone.

Elephants are great for warmth.



Wishing for 65. Your cold front is moving through here. Only going to be 91 today and 80s the next couple days.

Incredible storms related to the cold front last night. At least 30 trees were toppled or snapped in half at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. 200,000 lost power mostly south of me. We kept ours thankfully.
A 290 year old tree fell on a moving vehicle with 2 people in it completely destroying the car but they got out alive.

It can't if it hasn't eaten anything. Coccidia is a protozoa that lives in soil and in wet bedding. Not possible in this case.

Belive me I dissacted almost every thing, beginning with the banal frog, through sharks, birds, rats, lamprey, cat, dog yes even a human being!
But not when I am sitting with a nice piece of water melon and befor my first bite I see that distorted chick b.... by surprise!

i dont know anything about your incubator, i think you said you have the mini advance?

Thank Kathy I so much agree with you, but here in Israel we have a Wonderful markets that have all year long the season fruit and vegetables it is EXTREMELY fresh! This is the first Mango from my tree this year.

did you calibrate your hygrometer and thermometer?
even brand new they can be off

Use your local fruits and vegetables! All those berries that you have are wonderful fruits!

strawberries are past, blueberries are just starting, dont know about any others at the moment, dont know what is in season right now unfortunately
though i have an over abundance of garlic scapes that someone gave me
most of the fruit at my store is shipped in from canada or california and mexico

We eat alot of vegetables and fruit here, if you visit in any good hotel in Israel and see ouer breakfast you will understand!
