Well, two have hatched and she is flat out on the others when I am not bothering her. Of course, no telling with the young cockerels just being with them a few hours a week what is fertile. I may candle them when I move her tonight.

I have a double yolk, in the bator, both are started. Leghorn. I have never deliberately kept one in before, but thought, going to see how it works out. Yes, I know the odds. Will see how long it takes. Would be something if I got both to hatch though!

Can you see the two little embryo's? One at the top left..and one at the bottom right.

I can't see but I'm old. I won't reprimand you. I'll just wish you and the embryos good luck.

I am coming back a day early this time.
Well, I am off and heading home I can't wait to see what chicks I got.

A day is all I usually got. Sometimes it was just an hour or two.

I just received a recall notice for my Jeep in the mail. It basically says 'There's a problem with the air bag in your vehicle. If your vehicle experiences prolonged exposure to high humidity... so every day this summer and counting... the passenger airbag can explode and send metal shrapnal everywhere which will cause serious injury to your passenger and maybe even death. What can you do about it? Well, nothing because were sorry to say we dont have the products necessary to fix it. We just wanted to make sure you knew, just in case ya know, something unexpectedly goes BOOM for no reason... We'll reach out again when we've figured out how to make the repair, until then, wish your passengers good luck!' So, looks like my 5 passenger vehicle is now a 4 passenger vehicle until TBD, and this letter is a nener nener now you cant sue us notification.

It was just a thought, because I have a piece of foam wrapped around my flashlight with a hole cut in it. Sometimes when I circle air cells with my sharpie, I will get some on the foam, then I see a smudge on the egg and thing w t h! So maybe that's all it is.... I hope yours is nothing more serious, but I wouldn't worry about it. (easy for me to say, huh? Lol)

I hate living in a city that used to be a FARMING community. Now it is not. I just got a letter from the city that says I have to get rid of ALL my chickens unless I jump through hoops, pay hundreds of dollars to request a conditional overlay. They gave me 9 days to get rid of my chickens, but an overlay will take months..
