Oh wow that's way over my head for now lolShe uses them to track weights. I use them to pedigree the birds. Ideally, all mine should look identical. Occasionally I can tell roosters apart but not hens.
I keep track of rooster and if known, the hen that laid the egg, egg size and egg color.
Ok so I've noticed some pretty strange behaviour in my 3 week old chicks... 3 of them have started putting their heads to one side and running round in circles...almost to the point of falling over. One of them actually did. They look as if they can't keep their heads up. Is it just because it's been so hot? Or is there something wrong with them? I have stated putting vitamins in their water again just in case they're lacking something...but other than that I can only think it's some kind of heat stroke hmm.png bit worried about them as you can imagine! Any suggestions?

I meant to update, my two 5 week old chicks that I hatched (with help from @MotorcycleChick
) have officially been outside for two nights in a row and seem to be tolerating it just fine. They are not very happy at sundown, and I have to coerce them to go in their temporary "coop" (which is really just a plastic tub that I put a roost bar in and cut a door into the side and vent holes). They are also not very fond of my car when I back out of the driveway. HA!
The 3 that are almost 12 weeks old are doing better with the big girls every day, they come out of the coop now each morning without prompting, but have formed their own little gang and don't really mingle with the big girls. It works for me as long as everyone is eating, drinking, and no blood shed.
