I found half an empty shell across their room today. I don't like being attacked, so I sniff for a rotten smell, and check their bodies the best I can, look around for trouble, and leave. Tonight (day 14) I will candle the three (I assume) and see if there are anymore clears.
Nope! I am good for another month!
They say, "medium argh"?! Wow!
"Someone" (Chaos) forced me to get a gross brand of ginger beer and hard root beer. I can't get the ginger beer down. An email mentioned using it for a float.

Here are the baby ducks and baby goose! One duck is a Magpie (we named it Melon) and the other one is a Pekin (we named it Panko). Then the goose is an African (we named it Old Yeller)

I fear that my post about not having poultry indoors is being ignored.

We're giving fodder to the anti-backyard chicken authorities.

That may be so, and I agree that poultry should be kept out of houses with young, elderly, or sick.


However, I feel a healthy adult with a strong immune system should not become severly ill from properly managed indoor poultry if correct sanitation procedures are observed. I may well be wrong, this is just my 2¢.

No. They have a large run though, and lots of stuff ends up in there.
I do too.... An hour away there is a place with a 5 story building!!! It is huge!!

There are so many cars..... I must have counted fifty.

Interesting point about metal poisoning.... I found some metal in the run recently they had dug up. I threw it away, of course, but it makes you wonder how much more is in there....

Gadzooks 5 stories!!! No thanks!! I'd have to go like over 2 hours maybe 3 to find that! Nope ain't gonna do it, bet ween me n my neighbor is a valley filled with trash, some of it is worth money now but who wants to dig through it
