Oh awesome! Thanks!Hi! Welcome and congrats!
35 is not a terrible number. If it gets too high, you can put some dry rice in a stocking inside the incubator.

Did you calibrate? What kind of eggs? This page is great!!! I just got my first incubator today. The Hova-bator 1602N model. I didn't get the egg turner yet, but I plan to! I did get their Hydrometer. So far, I am keeping the temp steady at 99.5 pretty easily, but the humidity is 35% and there is no water in it.Any tips?![]()
glad it worked!!Ok, danke!
And ..... it works! Ty!
Oooh good idea! Thanks!
Haha thanks for taking the time!

Good Luck!!Chicken eggs (2 RIR's, 2 Buff Orp's, 2 Olive Eggers, and one EE). Really hoping that my Olive and EE's hatch since I recently lost those two hens. But yes, I have the hydrometer I bought from the same company and the one that came with it. Both are reading the same temp.
Good Luck!!

are those runners in your avy?
Oh from my picture? That was taken over a year ago, and I sadly don't have 2 of those three any more. I still have the black and white duck, but my KC and Cayuga have both went over the Rainbow Bridge. Broke my heart, too. I have since bought two more different breed ducks to keep her company, and they are all doing great! I have a large pen with a pond that they run around in. They love it! We have the three ducks, three Nigerian Dwarf goats, and 10 hens/one roo.
Oh Lord....don't tempt me!! My husband and I have been talking about cows. LOL We already have three Nigerian Dwarf goats that we breed/sell. Not sure I'm quite ready for cows yet....
