Mabe yall can help. Do ï add them or not??????
Never incubated before.
So my daughter lost her pet hen a few weeks ago and we did a emergency incubation. On July 14th with the last egg she hatched that day. Well ï started reading on this website and found out you...sorry if made a extra lockdown incubator that is more stable
Please be a bit clearer on your question. The last egg she hatched on July 14 or the last egg she laid?
If you want progeny of a favorite bird, do incubate.

See? I can scare it to death!
Nope!
How did you get your scars in those places?

I think you are asking if you need to have a second incubator for hatching? No, it isn't necessary.
X2
While not ideal, and I hate myself for it, I have almost 50 chicks that were all in staggered hatches. That reminds me, I need to go turn eggs again.

Do you have yucca? Try that to create barriers or deterrents. I have it wild (grows much like a weed, hard to get rid of it). When I need to remove a plant (e.g., in the garden walkway) I dig up the root as best I can and give it the plant plus root to my friend who has a really bad problem with deer. She strategically planted them to discourage their paths through her yard, and has been able to get them to go around and therefore damage fewer plants.

(Can you tell I'm avoiding going outside?)

See above for stumbling rule. I probably wouldn't need it if I had a buddy. It's embarrassing how often I've had to invoke it.

OK.... I want to take a nap. But I will soldier on a little bit longer. Several bags of potting soil are calling my name...

Yes and :yesss:
I don't have Yucca is it something available in California. We have drought tolerant California fushias and something else in the bed they like to lay in. I'll look it up.

:gig You can't channel your inner MC. She's flipping crazy! She'd consume your whole being!
I only cleaned the back porch/sunroom, emptied trash, cleaned the nursery, cleaned a coop, harvested cucumbers and played with the rest of the garden, emptied the overflowing coop trash (mostly broken plexiglass and corrugated roof panels) brought four chicks to the "kill Abi" broodies, carried feed to the coop, collected eggs, cleaned the incubator out a bit, and tossed all dead birds.

I forgot to water the house plants. I hate house plants.
