Olympic of 68, I was 2 years old! Don't remember that :lau

You must have some extra large raccoons then.
I just think they're extra smart.

Question: should I candle the eggs that are under the broody, like I would if I was incubating them? To check for duds, etc? She fusses at me when I move them around, but she isn't violent (yet). Just curious if I should plan to candle them on day 7.
I never do.
You can't do anything about humidity. It doesn't matter if there are duds, they just won't hatch.

That's what is nice about broody hens. You don't have to do anything.

Is it likely? I mean, I know it doesn't absolutely mean that, but is it more likely? I'm kinda thinkin' that they are cockerels anyways, because the middle of the comb is starting to turn pinkish. It's not turning pink anywhere else, though, so I don't know ....

I think it is too early to tell. Don't fret till you know for sure they're cockerels.

Ok. Fingers crossed ...

Depends. I've done some cross country in my own back yard, but it's not ideal, since the yard's not quite big enough! So, where I can, I suppose.

One of our Missourians, Josh Prenot, is about to swim in the semi finals of the 200 meter breaststroke. He's from Sedalia where we have our state fair.
He had the top time in the world this year but this is his first time in the Olympics.
