mine have moved on but where did you get it, or did you make it?@DwayneNLiz
Don't know if you can see the wasps just below the trap. This trap was full yesterday. It's the only type I use now to trap wasps. I don't use the bucket anymore as there isn't enough of them to merit it. Wanted to say you don't need the wasp pheromones to make this work. The bait is the top section of a chicken wing

gotta take the heels down little by little, i would rasp, i actually just picked up a new rasp yesterdayI think I have 1 1/2 tons of hay delivered every three months, but I'll have to check records to verify that.
@daxigait Any thoughts on getting bottom of these hooves even? Thank You.
Hi Kathy!
thats a lotta hay
in my town we also dont have an inspector but they were remodeling the house the entire time i lived there so thats why i got zapped so oftenMany other countries have less stringent electrical regulations than here. National Electric Code is a good guideline. Every electrical accident and fire gets investigated and results are codified in the Code.
In Costa Rica, most people don't use hot water heaters. They have a unit mounted on the shower head that heats water as it passes through. Every one I saw had unprotected power running to it. The good ones had wire nuts on the connections. My extra tall coworker from New Zealand got shocked with almost every shower when his head hit the shower head.
I borrowed an angle grinder and extension cord with a duplex receptacle on the end from the estranged husband of my landlady who was a building contractor. They were so dangerous with frayed wires, I had to repair them before I'd use them.
I put new plugs and receptacles on them and made them safe. I thought the guy would be thankful. I don't think he really understood or cared.
this seems like a trick questionI need a favor... can any of you read this and tell me what the per gallon dose of this powder is?
-Kathy
lol, i read all, skim rarelyMy previous post is more of a survey... The correct answer requires that one really read it the directions, 'cause those that skim read, like I do, will probably get the wrong dose just like I did, lol.
-Kathy
You have to take the toe and heel off. Given their state, you will need to take what you can evey week for a few weeks until you get the whole hoof right. Just cut thin sections of the heel off(toe too) at time watching for pink or blood. You want to be straight with the coronary band.
I am resorting to a coarse rasp when I get close to drawing blood and to work on heels. I was too timid when I learned last year and one doe has feet that reflect it, on the other hand this week I got a bit deep on one and drew a bit of blood laming another doe for three days. The rasp helps on the heel where I am never sure if I am about to go too deep, but need to take more off.

dawwww, hes cute i like pepe
No! not even closebut wouldnt the air bubble in the egg take care of that
i like the colors of rory better but the build of levin, so it depends
think of all the free time you'll have

so sad but will be so nice for the winterSo as of today Most of the flock is gone.
Coop#1 4 tolbunt polish hens need a roo, two icelandics I am keeping = 6
Coop#2 layer pen with a BCM roo, BCM hen, two project CBR OE layers, Blue Marans hen, one old PBR = 6
Coop#3 temp coop until I sell off quad of juvie brahma, one blue brahma hen and her 5 babies = 5 & 5chicks
Coop#4 empty
Serama 25 littles, 8 growing out as possible replacements, and 8 icelandics growing out
4 pheasants probably going to dads after I process the cornish up there
1 goose 7 ducks
so do the grow out littles count as chickens?![]()
I think not
i'll take all the tolbunts lol, not much in NH rules for receiving shipped poultry except ventilation and proper cage
I sold so many and gave so many away, I had more than I would care to admit, having one LF roo has NEVER happened here. EVER so very quiet and the yard is not alive anymore. But when it cools the goats will be playing around and kiddos too. It is time to get rid of them, and more to go, coop three is next, I need to take pics and sell off the Quad of brahma and get rid of two drakes and the goosers is going back to sara as she lost most of her flock of geese.

pick me pick me!! lolI was pretty upset but got over it already lol
not even sure I will keep the tolbunt, If I cant find good roo I wont keep all the hens. no use for them either
i buy water for my tankFish are the one thing I don't have, I manage to kill them all.![]()
I think the water here is not good for them or something, and the day you catch me buying bottled water for a FISH is the day I land in the looney bin!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

yummers, i want to make these
I'm fine. Heart and guts in turmoil. Wish I had an armada for the flocks, and the pets, and the wedding photos and baby pictures.

love it!
congrats!! beautiful!!
I think the problem is the lack of respect, men are not the same nor are women. Men treat women differently, very few old school men that have been taught proper manners etc. Women have stupidly taken on the roll of too much, house maker, mother, worker and so on. It makes them frustrated tired and stressed. combined, you have miserable people, both to blame. just saying but I am half asleep yet lol

you will never give up on ducklingSo the next time I want to give up my flock and Duckling because I feel like a failure (which is happening now), I can blame it on a lack of a real man?
the animals will be fine, and you are getting it done, it takes time, and you are far more worthy of her than her biological mother and fatherI still haven't gotten the run done. I don't deserve to have animals if I can't handle dismantling and rebuilding a run.
If I can't redo the run, and take care of animals, I am certainly not worthy of having Duckling!
No its the littles that keep me from doing anything, and I still have two during the day. I wish I had more before and after school so I could have free days, I would love to make some more pallet stuffs. I just cant do the things I like to do with littles, if they are mine I would be ok. But the littles dont listen and cant be trusted. I leave the room and all heck breaks loose. My kids are scared of me and respect me, they wont do things behind my back or when I leave the room, these two littles are horrible with that.

i have some spare call drakesgood thing I've already got layers in the coop. Can't wait till my doms start laying though. I did find out that we do better with a flat bottom incubator rather than an auto turner. So hopefully when they start laying we will have it down to an art, lol. Just wish I had a mate for my duck.
