My X lives about 200 yards away, we counted well over 300 bats coming out of our house one night, its a rough cut hemlock sided home, they were living inside our walls. I could have sold guanoThey lived in the north side of the home.
So I may be able to do a version of that siding
I think that would do really well. When I tore down an old chicken coop here from the former owner it had aluminum roofing those crazy bats were in the roll of the roofing on top of the 2/4's. Not sure how exactly they handled that heat but they did. Back before the fungus got to the bats I had at least that many. Now probably less that 100. Strange thing is some days they are not between the rafters of the barn some days they are. It's like they travel from bug spot to bug spot
