There's a whole 'nuther culture that comes to life in Frederick after dark. I got a glimpse of it when I ran newspapers there. Homeless vagrants hanging on street corners, drunks, girls working the streets, mostly near traffic lights where they have a captive audience when the lights turn red, an occasional shooting, stabbing, or robbery,  plenty of drugs being sold and / or used, the usual riff-raf found in any city, I guess. I'm just insulated from it somewhat, living out away from it.

I'd live in my truck first.

Yep, sure is. My username used to be Bubbles12345, and I used to make over 100 posts per day. Then, Benny made a typo when talking to me, accidentally calling me Babbles. It caught on, with everyone calling me that, and it scarred me so much I had to change my name and be quiet... Okay, that wasn't the reason I changed my name, but I'll pretend it is.

Well, it looks like either Pingu or Rockhead needs to be gone by next week.... After growing up and getting along terrific for all of their lives, including that morning, both cockerels were bloody when I got home today.
Rocky is a white silkie, he had so much dried blood on him that his front looked almost like a partridge silkie. Pingu's head and neck was so red he looked like his throat was cut!
