It's his first time anywhere. He never went to daycare. They think he's been raised by wolves. Judging by his form and technique when he's howling through the grocery store, then maybe he has.

We have fives of tens of chickens, goats, dog and cat, new puppy, and a baby terrapin I found in the yard, but he only wants a hamster.

I wish he didn't look so rotten when he smiles.

If he were an adult we'd say he "doesn't back down from a challenge" and call him "entrepreneurial" or "a natural leader." In pre-k he's just a bad kid.

i wonder if you could alter a collarso it has a Y in it and goes on both sides of ears and attach something to it
like a horse's cribbing collar, but modified

Still the same number of chicks from last night. No new pips or chirping. Not optimistic that the rest will hatch.....

Would some of you Experienced hatchers clear something up for me? I thought I read somewhere on this site that you can increase your chances of hatching females by putting your temp in incubator at a certain degree? If so,please give me those temps. Thanks

Supposedly, temp changes = survival of the embryo—more females at lower temperature; more males at higher temperature. Also round vs oval eggs.

My geeezzzz I'm gone for 2 day and behind 20 pages(mobile)!!! I miss getting in here a lot. Between school kids and homework and daily crap I don't get to till like 10 pm and then I fall asleep with phone in hand

does he respect you? fully? this is the issue with most kids I have had an autistic 13 year old and half the kids I baby sit have been branded with some form of attention issue. ughhhh If this is the case, why do they listen here until parents come? answer, respect, I demand it. I dont get respect everything stops, I do get close in their face and talk to them in a very Respect me or else tone, yes they are scared crappless obviously but they learn that respect and what I say goes. You know the little one had his little blue wooby blanket 2 times he snapped the other boy yesterday, last time he got him in the eye, I told him one more snap of the blanket its mommoms! he told me to shut up and snapped it at me. If it was my kid his but would hurt, but this little boy no longer has a wooby to sleep with at night. Parent was very upset with me, I dont really care, they can have the blanket back after a few months for keepsake! I am stern with the young kid parents as I am the kids!!

No evidence. If there were any possible chance of sex selection with egg shape or incubation temperature it would have been done because egg companies need to discard a few billion cockerels a year. Real scientific studies have been done and there is no evidence.

Hey all

I used coffee ground to mix with soil, to put in the potters, in our bathroom window, before moving it to the garden outside.
Carrots, Tomatoes, Squashes, peppers, onions, watermelon, cantaloupe! And a few other things!

I don't eat tomatoes, but I may try my hand at canning some for tomatoe sauce for spaghetti down the road, and giving some to the chickens. They apparently LOVE tomatoes!
