Might be MIA for a while; possibly into tomorrow. Had to take DW to the ER a bit ago; she thinks it's an anxiety attack...idk from nuthin'. I had to come back to lock the birds up; going back now to see what's up with her. BBASAP

My lone chick didn't live long enough to meet her new sisters. Had a pretty strong feeling that would happen. C'est la vie.

Now I have 4 silkie/mixes and a pullet to replace DD's australorp. She named it Rarity.

A question I have had about my Muscovy, is whether or not her eggs were going to be the same color as the Pekin eggs. Unless her egg lightens up, it is definitely not the same color. Where the Pekin lays a creme egg, the Muscovy's egg is a very light brown/ milky coffee.
