Thank you very much. I am at the exact spot described in point 6 in the link.!
That's funny. My son has been scuttling his chances for promotion for a long time.
After years of cooking he was eventually promoted to kitchen manager at a very busy restaurant. He was great at it but he really hated it. He resigned and has since worked at nearly 15 different restaurants - including being a prep cook at the same restaurant he managed. He just quit that job because his simultaneous night job offered him a promotion. That was to be main line cook after offering him the KM job.
It would be a 9-5 job 5 days a week. He was excited about it.
Just before he started, the offer was pulled and the only offer was kitchen manager. I told him it would likely be a better position than the last KM job he had and it is a fair salary with just as busy of a restaurant but smaller menu and fewer responsibilities. He just has a bad taste from the last KM job.
I have seen a research that the conclusion of it was that THE MOST IMPORTANT thing to minimize the chance of infection in a fresh wound is washe it under a moderate presuur (a syringe for example ) and there was not any different between selin or water.
That's probably true, especially after being treated with betadine.
In my life I ALWASE try to fined the equilibrium point of the chalenges/ obligation that l am facing. When you are at that point you know, but more important YOU FEEL that you are in it! Once I have achieved it, I try my best not to loose it.
I'm as a teacher have Direct influence on a grate number of young people and that is very important for me, but beside being a teacher (= that fills my duty as a provider ) I am also a husband and a father and this 2 positions, that are also VERY important to me, and need a grate portion of my time and Emotional resources. And also there is me as an individual, that also have his hobby and freind that need a portion of my time. Al this things are sometimes in conflict, so I need to balance all of this, and I think that I did find that point that maximise my salary in the minimum working time. And that is very important to me.
When I was younger and not even married yet, I had a meeting with a very hige inspector of the education department in which he offerd me an offer to be a school director. I asked him if with the responsibility came the authority, and he asked the authority of what? And I answered the authority of fireing teachers and Remove students as As I see fit ? And he answered no.
So I refused the job, because the extra money, and me being a bureaucrat didn't worth me loosing my equilibrium!
