My cousin is a SS/disability attorney so if they give me any issues at all, I will not hesitate! The employee health lady after seeing the MRI actually had the nerve to say "you know that kind of injury is usually only from a fall forward on an open hand... I assured her the incident was witnessed. they also said "oh i see you had a dog bite a month ago... yes idiots-other hand and somehow i managed to work 4 12's with stitches in my hand and nobody cared about that!!

it will be just over 2 months when I see him. But the workmans comp lady even said they are pushing it because it counts against them the longer I am off or on restricted duty. I told her to look it up and depending on what the surgeon says, I may never be back to what i was able to due preinjury. I'm optomistic but also realistic

This is it. depending on where and how its torn, it may never heal cause the outside get good blood flow but the inside gets none so all they can do is clean it up and do therapy and hope I get some strength, pain relief and stability back

i'm worried because its not ligament, tendon or bone-its cartilage so harder to heal or repair if they even can, my job can be very physically demanding sometimes and if I dont get 100% strength, grasp and motion back, it could be dangerous for me and the patients. i am looking at a 6-8 week cast or surgery and at least several months of Pt/OT.

Hi Benny-Its a workmans comp injury and they are making things very difficult to get the care I need. I have called so many drs and so far only found 1 that is 100% comfortable even seeing me after looking at the MRI. they all referred me to this particular specialist and they want me to see some unknown dr because they can see me quicker and I am not comfortable with that option

All of this sucks, i wonder if you see there doctor what he would say, then get a 2nd opinion from the good doc?

I use a different one, but with all of my internet problems, I have been as slow and slower than you. Never anywhere near what Liz gets at work!

that was my thought too!
I got rid of dial up at my house a couple years ago, i bet that was faster than what you have right now, or the same
when i had dial up it took a week to download itunes

This was mine... but I pay over 100 a month for high speed internet in a rural location to have the best cable possible, and i'm lucky... if I lived a little further down the road, I'd be stuck on DSL or satellite.

As a gamer.... that would make me rip my hair out. ;o
