I learned my lesson, I put one number downjust for chitsngiggles and I won and now have leghorn eggs and misc eggs in the bator
that she apparently thinks she's a lapdog. So then what's the problem? The kids get an inside horse and the chickens get a free ride.
Yes I calibrated the hygrometer. It had been at 45 humidity until yesterday. The air cells and weight loss were too high so I upped the humidity. They are 2 BBS and 4 Lavender Ameraucanas. The first set of 12 Lavenders shipping eggs the humidity was at 45-50 for the first 18 days. 5 looks like they developed but only 2 I could see enough to know for sure. Then I put the 5 I thought were good under my broody who had eggs hatching the same time as well. Only one of the Lavenders under the broody hatched.are you sure you calibrated hygrometer? and have you run that high humidity from the start? what breed? have you looked through this info?
