Hello! Sounds like you are rather busy. Good luck with all the events!

Thanks, no I'm fine and fixed my typo.

Is it the incubator's temp reading or your own thermometer?

x2
I've got 3 thermometer's in there. 2 of them match and one reads low. I have one under the heat thing, one in the middle and one on the other end, opposite of the heat thingie.

That way I can get a better grasp of the over-all temp. When side by side they all match, temp wise.

Yeah, I can do that. How many do you think I need, I have about 12 hours to get this perfect for the eggs. LOL
the more the merrier, after washing, put them on a cookie sheet and in the oven to dry so they dont affect the humidity

I have a HovaBator as well and love it.
As do I!!! I use my automatic turner when the air cells look good.Just bought a second one with the humidity control unit. I will say I do prefer the egg trays as opposed to the newer incu turn because I can set my eggs upright if the have iffy air cells and just keep the power off and tilt them by hand as described on the threads. That is so weird-I have never had that kind of fluctuation in temp and one of my units is used. If I was handy and had more time I would try to build my own but my hovabator has been so great I don't really have the desire to try to build one.... yet......

Quote: Small town hospitals are different, for sure. Dad was shot in a knee by a kid who'd never handled a gun before, at a gun club hunt on MD's Eastern Shore. After the surgery to remove most of the shotgun pellets, the head nurse told me he'd be in the ICU before being taken to his room. She said he didn't need to be in the ICU for any medical reason, but that the recovery room wasn't open on weekends

ok, i thought your humidity was too high, couldnt remember
LL
It was in my little tiny incubator, I had to figure out how to keep it stable, each day I open it, and add like 5 drops of water, using a bulb syringe, and it keeps it around 40-50%... anything more, and it jumps to 60-80% and anything less and it stays between 28-35%
