Fire Ants SUGGESTIONS
Boric acid
Schultz-Instant (chrysanthemums and is not toxic to birds)
Vaseline painted thick in a 4" wide ring directly under the nestbox
I have noted in reading DE is useless for red ants
Seven dust in the coop as well as under bedding in nest boxes works well
boric acid (15% by volume) in peanut butter placed in bottle lids where ants have trails. Boric acid works in similar fashion, killing slowly after distribution among colony members (it also kills cockroaches when mixed with cornmeal and sugar).
anyone else have suggestions?
