Because I really think my husband might actually kill me. LOL

We were out talking about new place for the animals and he finally said "I think I'm going to just have to convert our big shed into a poultry house, add doors, and let you guys have at it so I don't have to keep building new shelters all over the property.


Then I told him I wanted my silkies to have their own house, and he face palmed. Like... seriously face palmed. He's out there cutting some new fence posts for us, to make me a duck area, and I told him I wanted to get a nice dog kennel for the turkey's to sleep in, and let them free-range during the day.

You could literally see his eye twitching.

I have a chick that I just helped out of the egg, and now I just realized that it's toes on the outside of it's feet are curled under the rest of the foot. Here's a few pictures.





I don't know if they will fix themselves or not, but the chick is only a few hours old.

Is he supposed to have that flat of a back or is it just the way he is standing? Nice coloring though.

ok. Mine have never hatched like that. That's why I'm wondering. Maybe they didn't uncurl correctly or something because I helped it and it didn't need to push out of the shell?

Any tips on what a homeowner is doing wrong when three landscapers have refused to admit to the damage or even mention it? Two fences were ripped open, and the power to my main coop was cut. The last, I am not sure that he realized I was serious when I mentioned it. He laughed, and said the wire was in the way.

I am a bit uneducated re the jewish customs. What is the rule about milk and meat products in the same meal - or is that something different? I see meats and ice cream listed.
You are right we don't eat meat and
dairy products, or milk together. Tha ice cream in this kind of meal is made from frozen fruits, mango, dates and bananas, maple syrup and vegetarian "cream"


But I prefer coconut "cream/milk"
