Home for lunch. No little roo yet. It was his first time out of coop, probably his last.

While looking under the fencing I have laying out near the coop I did find a small 8 inch rattler

If you dont have electric
you can take two size buckets and spray foam insulation under and then around the innner bucket. and if you spray oil or wrap the first bucket with seran wrap you should be able to pull out the inner bucket.

And then I seen this idea for a tip foam top floater to go in the bucket it helps the top from getting ice and they dip the side to drink out of the bucket. its green foam I think its for horses but would it work for goats too?

idea foam insulated bucket....

I have a trough with the hog waterer in the side and a submersible heater that works so I can cover the top so no kids jump in and drown.

can you show me what you mean?

My husband just gave me permission to go spend money at walmart on useless art supplies to make costumes for our chickens to dress them up to take pictures for the photography contest. He said yes to the "art project" before I told him it involved chickens.

Then he facepalmed. LOL

Peeing on a fire causes the fire to go out, Dear; it won't start one!

Fires can also be caused electrically through what is called leakage current. Leakage current occurs when water is in the presence of electricity

A friend of mine lost her entire barn because of a water leak and heat lamp cord
