Good morning to all.

I find the conversation about school to be refreshing, articulate, and thorough. I was remembering my 8th grade public school year, one of the students had a question about evolution, the teacher went across the hall to get another teacher to witness the conversation, questions, and answers. Lawyers and the federal government were controlling the curriculum, this was one year prior to President Kennedy's assassination.

One of the best answers to the question of "Why home school?" was given by one who was home schooled.

My mind is now wandering .... a country song....if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything....all truth is exclusive and extreme...there are thousands of wrong answers to a question and only one right answer....a parent can delegate authority to a public school to "teach" but is still responsible for the child's education....

@Sally Sunshine If you're still up I got soap news for ya! I've started ordering oils for my winter line and here's the lineup:

Kringle's Curse (peppermint mixed with ylang ylang and eucalyptus)
Kerstboom (Siberian fir mixed with cedarwood and cinnamon leaf)
Glühwein (juniper berry mixed with anise and clove made with real red wine as the liquid portion of the soap recipe)
