Ok ok ok I guess I'll let y'all off the hook since there were technical problems. I forgive everyone!! Lol But just remember,you don't need to be employed to be fired!! Lol

So my post was in regards to my lil newborn chick that was pecked by my meanie brain rooster. She went downhill fast and I brought her inside. Within a few hours ,she passed. I believe there was something internal going on. Although I'm very sad,I'm at peace knowing she's in Heaven with another chick that passed last summer,Hope. And with the 7 victim chicks of fire ants. No suffering! All you can eat scratch and bugs!! Thank you all kindly for the advice as well as the prayers. Much appreciated.

Don't know.... I'm bad at toeing-the-line-but-not-crossing-it since my "offensive" meter is set higher than some. So I don't post anything even close to "the line," or I try not to anyway...

I've been away so I've no idea what you're referring to. But I can relate to the "offensive meter". I find that sometimes it is better to keep quiet. But others,it is necessary to speak up. Especially if it is for what's right. Too many people do not stand up for justice. I call this choosing my battles.
Again,I don't know what happened,but I hope you figure it out and have an inner peace about it. I do commend you for not being afraid to be genuinely honest. It's refreshing.

Any more hogs?

No. Not doing any hog hunting right now. It's all about DEER!!! Until January 1st!!! The hurricane hit us harder than anyone anticipated. I'm inland a ways,but we lost power for several hours. Our entire city went dark. Several down trees on our land. The winds were severe. The rain was great. It was terrible. Had to go out in it to check on my babies!!! They were a bit freaked out. All safe however. Thank the Lord! I'm asking for prayers for the millions on the coast who have suffered and are still suffering. It is absolutely devastating the wrath this storm left behind. And is still affecting people in the northeast. Please keep these people in your thoughts. And remember,always count your blessings. It could always be worse.

I remember 21 years ago writing a letter to Glad telling them their trash bags were garbage anymore. Yada yada. They still are. DH bought some a few years ago. The flex kind with febreeze. Not only did they tear too easy, but they attracted maggots. A few weeks ago, Glad was all the store had. Each bag has leaked. In addition to all I had to do before bed, I also had to mop the kitchen, clean the garbage can, and tomorrow I have to use the carpet scrubber (so glad I have one!!).
