So tomorrow will be hatch day...or maybe the next day. Depends on how you count the days.

When I candled them a few days ago I saw HUGE air sacs so I *hope* this means they are developing still
I noticed they didnt look like the other chicks I just hatched. When I candled them on their 18th day I could see feathers, veins, and sometimes movement. I see none of this with the peafowl eggs. Just black mass.
Should I expect to hatch?

I had several peafowl eggs as well a week ago, they all had black masses, Only one had a chick inside, So don't be surprised if you only get 1 or fewer then the eggs are.

Yea Im expecting only 1 to hatch..
If any.

Yesterday when all the others hatched I came home to find they had moved them around. Alot.

I hear nothing out of them as of now and see no movement.
How long should I give them before I call it quits?

Candle them.... if you see movement they are alive :)
If not, they are done.
If you see them tapping at the shell put a small hole in the air cell so you know they at least have air..... then we wait and hope they can do the rest on their own.

Good luck!

Ok well I candled the egg I thought would hatch and even had my boyfriend look (just so I knew my eyes werent tricking me into seeing what I wanted lol) and he said he saw movement too..but it was very very slight.
How would I go about poking a hole in the air cell (which is the size of half the egg!)?

Well I opened all 3.
One was developed under 5 days and the other 2 under ten days..
