hi just had my last lot of chicks hatch today 12 all heathy my chickens are still laying so is there a time when i gota stop incubating for the end of the year this is my first year of hatching my own ive had exellent resullts all year with min loss thanks

all depends on where you live (the climate) and if you have any way to brood chicks in the winter..

some people refuse to have chicks in the house with them and have no way to brood them "outside".. others have barns or coops set up with brooders that can withstand their winters.. and some silly people like me hatch whenever we want because our winters are short and we don't mind brooders in the house

I'm incubating now and will set up the brooder in the house for the first three weeks then the brooder goes out to the barn.

thanks im in the uk i keep them in house for first 2 weeks so i should be ok for now
