I haven't started my first batch yet, however ,y friend was giving me the run down and so I can tell you what she said. First of all, she said if humidity starts to change then you should put a thick wool blanket under, (post above) but my other friend who didn't reply said to make sure you are using the right amount of water. What amount are you using by any chance?Hi! I was so excited to see you have the same incubator as I do. I am a newbie as well and trying our first hatch but really feel like I have no clue what I am doing despite all the reading I have done. I have the same auto turning Magic Fly as you do but I can't seem to regulate the humidity well. My temp stays consistent but the humidity goes anywhere from 40-80% and of course there isn't room in the incubator for a humidity gauge to actually sit in there with the eggs when it's an auto-turner so that complicates it even more. What are you doing to manage your humidity? Any ideas on how to keep it monitored better or regulated better?
