Hi! I was so excited to see you have the same incubator as I do. I am a newbie as well and trying our first hatch but really feel like I have no clue what I am doing despite all the reading I have done. I have the same auto turning Magic Fly as you do but I can't seem to regulate the humidity well. My temp stays consistent but the humidity goes anywhere from 40-80% and of course there isn't room in the incubator for a humidity gauge to actually sit in there with the eggs when it's an auto-turner so that complicates it even more. What are you doing to manage your humidity? Any ideas on how to keep it monitored better or regulated better?
I haven't started my first batch yet, however ,y friend was giving me the run down and so I can tell you what she said. First of all, she said if humidity starts to change then you should put a thick wool blanket under, (post above) but my other friend who didn't reply said to make sure you are using the right amount of water. What amount are you using by any chance?

I started with the 100ml the directions said but that was way to high so I dumped half out and it was still in the 80%'s so I dumped out enough that I only had 25ml left and that was still in the 60% so right now I have none in there with a dry papertowel in the bottom and it's still at about 50% humidity

Are you saying without adding water it jumps up to 80 then back down etc or does it jump up to 80 after you add water???

No, it doesn't jump around. It was above 80 when I had the recommended amount of water in it then came down more and more as I removed more amounts of water. I haven't added any water since the initial amount, only removed and as I removed it dropped but still is at about 50% with absolutely no water and even have a papertowel in the bottom to try to make sure it stays dry.
