Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

Hello all,

First off, best of luck to all in their hatches.

I received my MUSCOVY eggs and put them in the incubator after the mom had began sitting on them already, and they could be anywhere from 29-33 days in the incubation process as of right now. I still do not see any internal pips.

I need an answer to a very urgent question. Is it okay if I stop turning the eggs when they internally pip? Or will I need to stop turning before the internal pip? I am going to up the humidity when they internally pip, but I want to know if it is okay for me to continue turning the eggs until the internal pip. A fast response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much

Hi all:)
My incubated eggs are at day 32 today.
Nobody has internally pipped.
Should I be going into lockdown regardless or waiting another day or two till somebody internally pips?
????? You don't wait for internal piping before locking them down, you lock them down Three days before the due date regardless if they are pipping or not..

this has not been my experience with it. I've found it better to wait for internal pup before increasing humidity, as long as it wasn't kept too dry during the first part of incubation.

lock 'em down. hope for the best. i don't think at this point in time you can make any changes in the air cell size by maintaining a lower humidity.

Okay lockdown is done!
I've set the temp to 36.7 and have a bunch of moisture producing things in thier :)
Can anybody please tell me what the perfect % of humidity is? It was gearing up to 90% when I set it but I suspect that is way too high?
