Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

Here are three photos we took last night. On the two close-ups, that little "spot" that looks like a crack is not - it's actually on the outside of the egg - I think they call them "calcium bumps." (?) However, it DOES seem to be what the little duckling is "pecking" at...

The final picture is what I call "the dark spot" which is visible from the outside with the naked eye. Is that the "popped" membrane? It was not there before yesterday afternoon.

Those do look like spots where the duckling is trying to pip

Is this egg still moving?

Are the first two pictures still moving and peeping?

Hi Kathy!

All of the photos above are of #4. #5-10 are also in lockdown and have movement, but I can not HEAR anything inside any of them. Their movement is more like "fluttering" while #4 is truly rhythmically moving back and forth in a way that looks like she is pecking....And yes, I just checked on her, and she is still pecking...but NO cracks!!

Today is 37...and what do you use to poke a hole? How do you do it? I am so sorry for all the questions, and thank you again!!
I try to find something with a sharp tip or a small drill bit that I spin between my fingers until it goes through the shell. I suggest practicing on a fresh egg first.
