FYI, ducklings, especially Muscovies, can die at a young age from dehydration... one of the two that I lost recently died from infection and severe dehydration, it was only 4-5 days old.

We dipped Skippy's beak in water, and she did drink.

I hope not! Maybe it is the color of his head, or the angle of the photo?

Yeh her head is swollen her beak is small looks a little deformed to me..

I am not certain - I thought she was too tired for me to remove her any more from the shell, so I put her back in the bator to let her warm up and rest...

She has an indent on the side if her head, I hate to say this but she may not make it..
