Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

is she making any noises? She's probably just moving her beak a lot and yawning which is good this is how they absorb. They peep because they are having contractions that's how they get the yolk inside them.

Yes, she is peeping from time to time and she is also moving her beak and "yawning." She's doing both. When I just went in and looked at her, she looks like she is sleeping...I can see her breathing! :)

#5 is on day 36
#6 is on day 35
#7 is on day 34
#8 is on day 33
#9 is on day 32
#10 is on day 31

When I hold each of these to my ear, I hear nothing, and I see no pipping like I did in #4 - just lots of movement inside the eggs.

OK remember they are going to all BE Delayed because of the low temp, so give them an extra day or even two, with the way #4 looks now, I would go Three more extra days..

ALSO, when you place them back into the incubator DONT do it now wait Until you have to wet #4 but when you open that bator again, Make sure all Lockdown eggs are SLIGHTED upwards a little.

Push the smaller end down so that the larger end is higher..

WHEN we get one out and he's yapping and yapping all around, the others will pop out within 24 to 48 hours, it's almost like they are having a race to see who will be the next one to break out of jail. It's pretty neat.

So lets hope we can keep the others in there shell and work on #4 and get her out safely, Once that happens, BOOM she'll get those others ones going... Since they have NOT crack there shell yet we should be pretty safe, you just need to close that bator up Immediately as your working on #4..

#4 is going to need assistant from here on, she's not going to make it out by herself...but will do the best we can with her. It's going to be a LONG process so I hope you were NOT planning on getting any sleep.

Because Every two hours we will have to check on her!!! Once we get her head out, THAT"S WHEN you get to Sleep. LOL.. So go get plenty of coffee or Energy drinks whatever it takes, it's going to be a LONG NIGHT. I will be up with you Every step of the way...

I am not opening the incubator...so I don't think I am able to hear her...but when I had her out earlier, she was peeping loudly and "yawning" at that time! :)

THAT's GOOD that's exactly WHAT WE NEED HER TO DO.. however in a heartbeat All that can change, but crossing fingers she will stay STRONG LIKE THAT
