Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

Four days before hatching day do you stop turning them??
"Eggs should be transferred to hatching machines approximately 3 days prior to hatch (this can be done anytime after 24 days if desired). Recommended settings during hatch are 98.5oF (37oC) temperature and a wet-bulb temperature of 88oF (31oC; equivalent to 66% relative humidity). Eggs should not be turned in the hatchers. Hatchers should be cleaned and disinfected after each hatch. Setters can be cleaned less frequently but should still be cleaned on a regular basis."

Lol, I didn't write it!

We're you ever able to locate Skippy's string?
Does 7 look malpositioned? I'm trying to learn here, I need more images/practice, they all just look like a wet swirly mess to me. The more pics I see, the better I get

No - so far, 7 looks OK - when I cracked into the shell, in the air sac, his little beak was facing straight up, already pipped through the membrane, into the air sac! :)

Good info Kathy, I only had to brood one Muscovy duckling in all of my almost 10 years of having them but I always started the temps at around 82-85 I was always worried about over heating. Good info on there. and I also like the humane way of having to cull too.
