How old is he? Maybe a warm bath, hydrotherapy, for a little bit to strengthen his legs?

He's about 37 hours old - was hatched on 2/17 at 9PM. Is he too young to be in water?

I believe mom waits two or three days before taking them to the water (So if it were me, I would wait on it.). Let's see what the others have to say about it.

When they sit under mom the oils from her feathers waterproof them, that's why ones with mom can go in the water. 102 is too hot for him and dehydration is too big a risk for him. Muscovies are more susceptible to dehydration.

Agree NO WATER, he can't swim for at least a WEEK. His fluff will suck up that water like a sponge...
