Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

Noooo get that humidity down to what you had it it's not lockdown time yet.

Moving does not mean internally pipped.
ok, it's down again. Ay, yi, yi….I think @Lacrystol I should be FaceTiming you with this. Wish you were in CA

ok, I can see through the window the one rocking a little. so I assume it's internally pipped, correct? i upped the humidity to 60.
Now we wait….
Several of mine are started rocking yesterday, but none have pipped. When I did my peachicks they were rocking several days before they pipped internally, so maybe that's what you're seeing?

Perhaps so. I didn't candle to see if it had. Didn't want to lose humidity. Cute little suckers moving around

I think it's moving quite a bit. It wasn't where it was earlier in the incubator.
With the chickens hatching, i had them in cartons so didn't see any movement beforehand.
It's been about 11 years since i've used an incubator before just recently. I don't feel like it's "like riding a bike". I feel like it's a brand new experience.

They will rock for several days, then all of a suddenly they stop moving, this is where a lot of errors occur, people stress out and think OMG they must need help they must be stuck and start to open them. Well it's not the case, I've notice they day of or day before due date, they are still as a rock. This is them resting before they bust out of jail. So rocking is very good, stopping is even better. So let me know when they stop moving. Lol

ya, it's a little nerve wracking but i think it helps that I had chicks hatch not too long ago. when they externally pipped, i let them do they're thing. they all hatched perfectly without any help. I guess for me i read ducks take longer and you don't help as soon, but read other places there is a time to help or they'll die. that's what kind of had me worried before, not knowing when. But I have my emergency line here, so I feel much better.
