Hi, does anyone know if the sex of a quail is determined by the temperature they are incubated at or not?

X2

Temp does not determine the sex of of quail. The sex of the bird is already determined while in the egg.

Whats the best way to determine the sex when there born? is there a way? thank you

You can't feather sex most gamebirds, which is the most common way to sex poultry. You can however, wait until they are several weeks old and color sex them, as they feather in.

If it was only that easy! Reptiles are the only egg layers where Temperature-dependent sex determination will determine the sex of the offspring.
