don't panic yet...are you using a digital or dial type hygrometer to read humidity? If so, they are ALL notoriously WRONG! I've been hatching all kinds of things for a long time, and never found a digital or dial hygrometer that worked worth a crap. I finally went to a wet bulb thermometer...that is the best, most accurate way to read humidity and I'll NEVER go back to anything else. I highly advise anyone really wanting to keep control of their humidity to get a wet bulb thermometer.
