Incubator cap

i don't even have any vent cap, my bator is opened 24hours/day since i need to backup the power failure using kerosene lamp.

I too was thinking about this.

My incubator instructions say to remove the plugs AFTER hatch to help in drying. (hovabator 1602N)

But I was wondering if I should do this after the first one hatches? I don't want to shrink wrap my babies that haven't hatched.
