Hello, I am Patty and I have just started my first batch of incubator chicks. My husband bought me this incubator for Christmas last year and our chickens are laying again, so I thought I would give it a try. I will check back in 21 days.

Welcome to BYC!

Congrats on the new incubator! Hatching chicks is very rewarding and fun! If you need any tips or hints on doing your hatch, stop by this article about hatching eggs....

https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/how-to-incubate-hatch-eggs-just-21-days-from-egg-to-chicken

And if you run into trouble and need to ask questions, you can post in this section of BYC, on Incubating and Hatching Eggs....

https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs

Good luck with the hatch! If you have any questions, that is what we are here for. Welcome to our flock!
