Hi all

I am incubating my first eggs. We have borrowed an incubator from a farm I help at. The incubator has been fine for about 5 days but today we have come down and the temperature keeps rising past the set point. We have it set at 37.5 degrees but the temperature keeps rising past 38. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? The upper and lower bounds are set to 1, and we have tried changing the set temperature, and even turning the incubator off and on.
Currently I am sat having to lift the lid off every couple of minutes.
Thank you

If you've set it at 37.5 and it's going to 38. then try setting it at 37. maybe it'll go to 37.5.
I don't know a lot about incubators, but maybe it's out .5 of a degree.
I’ve tried setting the temp lower but the temperature keeps rising. It is going past 39and continues rising

Wipe the sensor? Reset it again? Keep opening the lid. Put a temperature thermometer in the incubator to see if it's reading true. Other than that, I have no idea.
We’ve tried all of those except putting another thermometer in as we don’t have another one. Thank you for the suggestions though.
