We are new to this! This will be our first hatch-lings if they all make it. So far by candling them, everything so far looks great....Question ....What kind of vaccinations, worming ,etc will they need? Any other suggestions or advice you can give us will be much appreciated! Thank you! We are getting a brooder all ready.

What breed are they? Vaccinations aren't required, but they are certainly helpful! If they are Bantam chicks (Silkies, Frizzles, D'Uccles, etc.) they can't be vaccinated. Once I know what breed they are, I can suggest vaccinations and/or preventative measures.

Also...it seems we are always battling an Upper Respiratory infection at one time or another. The rooster is getting treated for that now. We are wanting to keep the new ones free from this.

Are you asking for vaccinations in your grown silkies or your hatchlings?

Currently we have only one Rooster and one Hen which are silkies....so the four eggs are silkies....sorry bout that... lol
