INCUBATOR HELP

Keni*Sue :

i dont have an extra 100 buck but i am getting one from tractor supply today that will get the job done

All I will say is this Keni! Make sure you BUY a good thermometer/Hygrometer with the Little giants! The thermometer that comes with them STINK!!!! It took us 3 horrid hatches to figure this one out. The LG will do awesome for you if you just READ the directions and use the thermometer/hygrometer (can be found at Wal-Mart in the outdoor thermometer section(hardware) 7 bucks!)

One of the things I noticed and learned on this forum by searching and seeking answers was the high number of people with styro bators that had temperature problems, bad hatch rates, NO HATCHES... Just go page by page say back about 10 pages and read the threads that say HELP... You'll get the idea.

I wish you the best of luck on your hatches. We're doing our first incubator hatch AND our hen Alice is 4 or 5 days away from hatching some eggs RBAMTERRY gave us.

I can see how addicting this part of the hobby can be... We just spent $50.00 on a dozen really drop dead gorgeous Milli Fleur Bantam Cochin eggs.... $50.00 !! Yeah did I tell you we're crazy ?? Anyway at those prices I wanna know the incubator I have is gonna give me a high hatch rate.

Good luck kid,

Michael (and Nan)

Just keep hanging in there. there is a lot of things that can be learned form hatching eggs. Like responsability, respect for life, and enviroment not to leave out a good way to make extria money as well as haveing fresh food for the table. Keep harping maybe they will givein.
