Incubator Humidity HELP!!! First Timer

I will tell ya what I discovered this evening. I had one of those thermometer/hygrometers that has a probe on it. THe humidity was measuring low on that one. But being the compulsive person I am I have two other thermometer/hygrometers in their. The one with the prob was on top of the incubator measuring the room air humidity. Put it in the incubator and it popped right on up there with the other ones. I don't know if that will help or not... Good luck with your soon to be babies..

The Humidity is at 65% right now where it should be and tommorrow I am supposed to raise it to 80% for the last three days, but since it was so high I am going to wait an extra day before I raise it again. I really think I've lost this batch of runner & peking. I candled the eggs and a very few looked solid and some were swishing around so I assume they are lost, I'll know definatley by next tuesday they should all be hatched by then........or not.

..time to start looking for another batch of runner & peking.

if you know anyone please let me know.

It's soo upsetting I feel like I let them down. Such a sad day.
