You called it right when explaining the make up of the bator with real glass. I had to use plexiglas because it's all I had at the time. It DOES work but I'm afraid I'll burn the house down so I'm on the look out for the real deal.
EVERY THING I'm doing with my 1st incubation is from YOUR advice. High humidity, side to side, incubator and so far it's working. I like the tip about the light over by the fan. Will keep that in mind when I go into lock down or if something spikes along the way. The only thing I want to do is add a funnel with a hose so I can add water as I need to without opening it up UNLESS a few seconds will not hurt during lock down? I will also be placing a small cloth under the eggs right before lock down for extra protection of the babies when they hatch.
