I have one of the round plastic Top Hatch incubators. Last night while I was asleep the light bulb burned out. When I noticed it this morning the temp inside the incubator was 81. I have replaced the bulb and it has warmed back up. Does this mean I have probably lost all my eggs? Most were on day 5 of incubation.

Thanks

Young embryo's can go in a dormant stage kinda like hibernation when incubation is interupted. Incubate them another week, candle them and see if they made it.

They should be ok. I had a cooler-bator that the light burned out in . It was out for maybe like 9.5 hours. The temp was 73. All 6 eggs hatched and are heathly.
