When I was researching last year I heard not so great things about the farm innovators brand. I ended up buying the hovabator Genesis and love it. I got the automatic turner and all in all I think I paid about $140. I hatched twice last year and had 50% on shipped eggs and 100% on my own eggs hatch rates both times.

I have a Hovabator also and like it. I hated it until I learned how to hatch correctly. I would like to hear from people who used Farm Innovator

what is your incubator? OD you have the number?
Is it the 1588

I have 4200. The system itself is fine, just don't trust the thermometer or hydrometer. You just have to mess with it a bit. I turned it almost a week before to get used to it by the time I got the eggs.

All I can say is Calibrate everything! I have two other thermometers and a reptile thermometer/hydrometer, all calibrated. A quick Google search will provide how you can calibrate both a thermometer and hydrometer. My last hatch, the eggs came from a short drive away, was like 86%.
