incubator problems

hi all ive made my own incubator from a plastic tote box its situated in my bedroom,during the daytime the temp is 37.5 and humidity is between 45-50....But first thing in the morning when i check it the temp has dropped over night to about 26 and humidity to about 30 what am i doing wrong...Please help its doing my head in

Is your home thermostat digital that drops the temp at night?
Do you have a space like a cellar that maintains a steady temp? How about a closet.

! Pleased you joined us! I agree with ChickenCanoe - if your house temp is fluctuating that would explain the dip in the incubator temps. As suggested, try to find a place in your home with a more stable temp. Good luck with your hatching!
