This is not the first time I’m using this incubator. This was my first incubator and I hate the thing. The two or three times I’ve used this I’ve had a 50% hatch rate in it. But this is the first time I’m using it with another thermometer. I can’t get the temps to be consistent. The temps in the room the incubator is in is around 80F. The incubator is set to 38.4C. Will the eggs be okay with the temps fluctuating this much?

is that from a Govee? Mine was causing me to stress so much! But from what I was told it is more the average temp which yours is spot on at 99.5 so should be good. BUT I mam far from an expert as I just got an incubator a few weeks ago and haven't had luck with my eggs being fertilized so no hatching for me yet.

Yeah the thermometer is from Govee. I have like 6 of them. They’re great. The other thermometers that I have in my other incubators work but this one is new. I calibrated it so it should be right.

This incubator is just such a pain in the butt. I don’t normally use it but I had to do a small batch for someone who didn’t have an incubator but wanted chicks. My other small incubator, the good one, is full. I just hope this hatch doesn’t get ruined since the chicks aren’t for me.
