If it stayed at that temp a good while-----probably-----but I would monitor them for a few days before throwing them out----did you get the incubtoator fixed? What went wrong with it? Is it a factory incubator or home-made?

Factory incubator but it was borrowed. Temp was good for the first week, but yesterday it started fluctuating a little bit. Then today it got way hot. I have no idea what happened. Unfortunately it went nuts while I was at work. I hope they're not ALL goners.

Took the lid off and let it cool. Then adjusted the thermostat. Was that bad?

I don't know...
I have never used a bator..
I was just curious....trying to read and soak up as much as possible..that's all.
Sorry..I didn't mean to scare you.

When it started fluctuating did you readjust? How much was the temp Fluctuating?

So I know... what's the normal incubation temp range for chicken eggs? I've read 99.5 for a circulated air and 101 for still air incubators as the "best" temp. Does anyone have any luck with higher or lower temps than that?
